So after driving 12 hours yesterday from Teddy Roosevelt across Montana..we arrived at Glacier National Park..We saw a mommy and a baby MOOSE on the way into the park..our first! ..We had reservations at a campground called Fish Creek..after our original reservation was cancelled because the camp loop we were supposed to stay at was flooded with spring waters..We came in to the park on the east side..but the only way to get to Fish Creek on the west side is through the park on the Going To the Sun Road..nearly 50 miles of the most beautiful scenic roadway you have ever seen..
We had enough time to set up camp..eat a hearty meal of hamburger helper..3 lbs of ground beef..GONE! ..while enjoying some Moose Drool ale which was my favorite from our last trip out here....and make it to a 9 pm ranger program..back to the campsite and we were whooped!
Nick had a sleepover in Nate's tent bacause Josh was using his hammock..
Zach Dad and I rather cozily shared the air mattress in our tent and nighty night!
